Students are not permitted to possess, use, be under the influence of, or sell drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products on the workshop premises at any time, at any sponsored activity, or when a student is traveling to and from a workshop or sponsored event. Students violating this policy are placing themselves in jeopardy of representing Canis Bodyworks LLC in any capacity for reasons of personal safety for the individual and those around the individual. Students in violation of this policy are subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination from Canis Bodyworks LLC workshops without refund. *

Canis Bodyworks LLC is dedicated to providing a safe, secure, thriving learning environment that provides an effective means for students to voice informal concerns, complaints, or grievances. Informal complaints related to the classroom should be directed to an instructor. The instructor will determine if the student’s complaint requires a verbal response, written response, or further action in order to resolve the specific complaint. *

Courses are subject to cancellation by Canis Bodyworks LLC due to limited enrollment one week prior to the program start date. If a program is cancelled by Canis Bodyworks LLC, students are subject to a full refund or can enroll in a future workshop. *

Canis Bodyworks LLC reserves the right to cancel a program up to 24 hours before the program start date due to act of nature, natural disasters, act of war, contagious pathological outbreaks (both human and canine), or other if deemed appropriate by the Canis Bodyworks LLC administration. However, Canis Bodyworks LLC’s follow up includes help and direction at being successful in the canine massage industry. Canis Bodyworks LLC will provide students with letters of completion, certifications, and letters of recommendation. *

Any video and photography usage other than permitted will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. *

Release and hold harmless Canis Bodyworks LLC and any hired or unpaid agents, contractors, vendors or lessors, acting as a representation of the aforementioned companies and person (collectively referred to as “Canis Bodyworks LLC Representatives”), from any and all future claims, including third party claims, arising from liability due to accident, damage or injury to self, horse, dog, or others, and/or loss of or damage to personal property during, or resulting from, any Canis Bodyworks LLC workshops, programs, or events. Release and hold harmless Canis Bodyworks LLC and Canis Bodyworks LLC’s Representatives from any injury etc. to my person or property resulting from the inherent risks of the classes or programs, events, or the activities resulting from any action or inaction by Canis Bodyworks LLC or Canis Bodyworks LLC’s Representatives. This waiver and release is effective even if the injury or damage to person or property is caused by or contributed to by actions or failure to act of Canis Bodyworks LLC or Canis Bodyworks LLC’s Representatives. And which actions or inactions constitute ordinary negligence of a violation of any applicable law pertaining to canine activity liabilities. Neither Participant nor Participant’s representatives shall make any claim against, maintain an action against, or recover from Canis Bodyworks LLC or Canis Bodyworks LLC’s Representatives or its independent contractors, instructors, directors, officers, members, employees, agents, volunteers, lessors, representative, designated officials, or others acting on their behalf for injury, loss or damage of the participant, participants invitees, participants canine or other animal, to the participant’s personal property (regardless of ordinary negligence by Canis Bodyworks LLC or Canis Bodyworks LLC’s Representatives or regardless of an alleged violation of an applicable feline or canine activity liability law. *

I hereby acknowledge that there are numerous inherent risks associated with being on the property, including but not limited to risks associated with canine activities, activities involving other animals, activities around property and equipment and other hazards associated with entering onto or being on the Property, whether preparing for, entering, attending, participating or leaving any Canis Bodyworks LLC workshops or programs, or being on the Property. The inherent risks include those dangers and conditions which are an integral part of canine activities or activities involving other animals, other activities, or being on the Property, including but not limited to: the propensity of a canine to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm to persons on or around them; the unpredictability of the canine’s reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movements and unfamiliar objects, persons or other animals; certain hazards such as surface or subsurface conditions; collisions with other animals or objects; the potential of participant or others to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury to the participant, participant’s canine or participant’s other property (such as participant’s vehicle or personal possessions) or others such as failing to maintain control over the canine or not acting within his or her ability; the breakage or failure of tack or equipment or property; the potential that an feline or canine may cause injury or harm to the participant or other persons or animals in the vicinity. Participant is not relying on Canis Bodyworks LLC to list within this document all possible inherent risks or all risks of participating in any of the activities on the property or at any other location. *
